If your employment contract specifies a notice period, this calculator uses your contract notice period. If your contract does not specify one, it uses MOM’s default notice period table based on length of service.
In Singapore, the notice period includes the day notice is given. Public holidays, rest days, and non-working days are also included, so they do not extend the notice period.
For a monthly-rated employee, this calculator uses MOM’s daily gross-rate formula: 12 × monthly gross rate of pay ÷ (52 × average working days per week). Salary in lieu is only estimated from explicit payable notice days.
